Service Description
Helping you and your dog create a predictable routine for greeting people and dogs. Does your dog greet others with too much energy and enthusiasm? Jumping up to greet us is a normal dog behavior that we have often unintentionally reinforced hundreds of times! This class will help you teach your dog about the “four on the floor” rule. This 4 session course helps you understand what drives this behavior, will teach a variety of strategies for helping your dog learn impulse control, and will provide a predictable routine when greeting both people and other dogs. This class is appropriate for dogs 4 months of age and older. Completion of the basic manners class is helpful but not required.
